Heads up: we earn a commission when you buy through links here. It never changes your price. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Full disclosure.

Affiliate Disclosure

Worst Deals Ever is a free site, and the way we keep it free is affiliate marketing. In plain terms: many of the links on this site are "paid links." If you click one and then buy something, the retailer pays us a commission. The price you pay is not affected. It's the same price you'd pay if you typed the retailer's address in yourself.

We participate in affiliate programs operated by, among others, Amazon, Walmart, Target, Best Buy, The Home Depot, Lowe's, eBay, Walgreens, and affiliate networks including Impact, CJ, Rakuten Advertising, Awin, and Skimlinks. The list changes as programs approve or reject us, which they do with surprising enthusiasm in both directions.

Amazon: As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply to the purchase of the product.

What this does and doesn't change

Commission rates differ between retailers, and we'd be lying if we said we never noticed. But we rate deals on the price, the product, and the catch, not on who pays more. A deal that earns us nothing still goes up if it's good. A deal that would earn us a lot stays off if it's bad. Retailers do not pay us to feature products and cannot buy placement.

How we label it

Every page of this site carries a disclosure line near the top, and each "Get this deal" button is marked "paid link," because the FTC asks for disclosures to be clear and close to the link, and because you deserve to know. If you ever see a link that isn't marked and should be, tell us.

Prices change

We check prices when we post. Retailers change them whenever they feel like it, often within hours. The price on the retailer's page always wins. If a deal here is dead, it was alive when we posted it, and we'll mark it expired as soon as we notice.
